We've been talking for a while about a full length album, but we're bent on making this thing happen. Spent a good chunk of time last night working on the drum parts for our newest song "Road Home". Goes a little something like this.
"And the road home takes me straight from here to you"
NewCastLive
Last night Egg minus our guitar player Ben, went down-town to (web)cast our songs onto the net. We were 10 minutes late, and consequently locked out of the skywalk, but a cab driver showed us the way and we made it just in time to sit-down and chat with the guys from NewCastLive. Check out the interview below and a SPECIAL live recording of our newest song "Road Home".

Branching Out
We're talking about adding a DJ to our set. What do you think? Should we branch out?
Griffle Strikes Again
M-Shop + Griffle + EGG = LOVE
About 2 months ago (8/27/2010) to be exact) we played at show at the M-Shop in Ames Iowa to kick off the year at Iowa State. The show was a blast and we got an opportunity to play with some of our good friends from Sons and Heirs and a band we'd never performed with from Minnesota, Pollis.
Prior to the show Griffle, a video production company, contacted us and offered to record our performance at the M-shop. What a great opportunity!
We said no, because we hate working with people, and so I just wanted to post this to let you all know about it.
Bye.
(someday someone will take that sentence out of context and I will pay for it then)
False. Quite the contrary, we couldn't have been more excited.
We really didn't know what to expect, but I watched some of their other work and was thoroughly impressed. They showed up with 3HD cams, snagged the audio, spliced the two, did some edits, some tweaks, put their stamp on it, and posted it on their you-tube channel for all to see. Needless to say it far exceeded any expectations we had, and we couldn't be more thankful for the work they did. We hope you all enjoy the fruits of their labors. So without further ado, here's the first look.
Hailstorm: Hurricane.
