FabFilter Twin 2 Updates & Discounts

Attention FabFilter Twin 2 Users: there are totally free updates waiting for you! FabFilter has updated the FabFilter Twin 2 synthesizer plug-in to version 2.10, adding a new "wide" user interface layout, various bug fixes, and other improvements. The new wide interface layout eliminates scrolling in the innovative component display, making it even easier to use than before.

FabFilter is also announcing a holiday bundle sale until New Years Eve (Dec. 31) that offers a 25% off discount on all plug-in bundles if you purchase online through their online shop: www.fabfilter.com/shop.

Here is a full list of the changes in FabFilter Twin 2.10:

- Added a new "wide" layout for the interface that eliminates scrolling in the component display in the top half of the synthesizer.

- Made the EG control points a bit bigger in the interface, so they're easier to grab.

- The plug-in is now Unicode-aware and correctly handles international characters on both Windows and Mac OS X, for example in preset folders and file names.

- Improved mouse wheel scrolling and editing behavior.

- Fixed bug that caused the XLFO Phase Offset parameter to work incorrectly in combination with random steps. Also improved sonic behavior when dragging the phase offset across its "circular"
boundary.

- Fixed incorrect redrawing in the plug-in interface that could occur in some cases in Pro Tools on Mac, for example when selecting <factory default> from the Pro Tools-provided presets menu in the plug-in header.

- Fixed bug that caused the help file to open only in the first instance of the plug-in.

Lucky One Collab Contest

Hey guys!

A lot of you have had questions about the upcoming "Lucky One" remix contest on FiXT Remix regarding the collab contest, so hopefully I can address those for you quickly here.

The Celldweller "Lucky One" Remix competition is actually TWO separate contests. The individual contest has all it's own prizes from a number of our sponsors and partners, then there's a separate special edition "Collab" contest brought to you by Ohm Force. Each will be rated and voted on separately! So if you're feeling especially frisky, you can enter your own remix then work with a friend to enter in the collab contest too!

To be eligible for the Collab contest, you must work with someone else (either others in the community or from elsewhere if you have friends that you'd like to work with). The winning collaborative teams will win the Ohm Force prize package licenses for everyone involved!

Many of you will also notice when you download the remix stems on Monday that there are some cool Ohm Force Demos in there for you to abuse for the trial period - so enjoy those while they last!
