First: Great mix! well done!
Most of the remixers just put the vocals into their mix and didn't really care about the feeling / atmosphere of the song.
You put the right vocals, only the emotional vox (in my opinion) ^^

This is GOOD. Very haunting melody lines - one of your influences is definitely shining through. :)

My only critique would be that your two high points seemed to me to be on pretty much the same level - which makes me kind of wonder if the second part needs to be there. Don't get me wrong, I love the builds. I just think the 2nd needs to go somewhere further.

This is one of the few mixes I have rated above 5 (I believe it has been about 5 or 6.)

This type of remix is, in my personal opinion, exemplary of what a remix should be; It's not too similar to the original but not completely detached from the original.

This remix really hits the spot for me, I think that this definitely belongs in the top three.

Finally got around to comment your track.

First i'd like to say i like the atmosphere of the track. However the sitars and piano sounds a bit thin. Maybe you should've added some effect to them and have more low-velocity notes to create a better flow.

I also agree that too little happens for the first 1:45. The buildup is great. Love the drums, maybe takes a bit too much time.

Too bad it doesn't have more of the drummy parts. I also noticed some parts that didn't really work. They feel empty. Like around 1:20. Maybe some drums or some buildup of some kind would fill the gap nicely.

Anyway, all in all good but i can't give you more than a strong 3/5 this time.

Hope you appreciate my honesty now :)

I honestly like the music. I think it takes too long to get started with the music and stuff, but it's still good. I do wish there was a bit more to the vocals. Not much use of them... and it's kind of bland because there are not many elements of the original song. And I'm not saying it should sound the same, I'm just saying warp some samples and manipulate it a little. Just an idea though...
