This mix has a lot of potential, though there's a few spots I think there could be some improvement.
I love that you wrote all your own guitar parts for this. The downside to that, however, is the guitars are overpowering and low end heavy. Combined with the massive amount of reverb in the mix and the bass, the result is a muddy and less defined mix than it potentially could have been. My suggestion is to leave more breathing room with your guitars, cut back on the low midrange and bass and give them a bit more treble for clarity because you're clashing with the bass you put in the song as well. If you feel like your guitars aren't standing out enough doing this, you may want to re-evaluate the type of distortion you're using or tone back the upper ranges on your bass and slowly bringing some bass back in on the guitars. Some minor side chaining on the bass triggered by your kick would also have helped clear up some of the mud in the low end too and helped your drums stand out and power the mix.
Cutting the perfect guitar parts is a lot of work and trial and error, but the payoff in the end is a heck of a lot easier time getting the final mix finished and clean!
I'll give this mix a 3.5 out of 5, rounded up to a 4! Looking forward to hearing your next bit!
Even when metal remixes are not that much my taste... This one is rocking awesome !!!
\m/
;-) I love the later "much more slower part" a bit more. The guitars rock !!! I just wish it wouldn't be that much compressed. I know everything has to be "loud" these days... but This one would have been even a little bit better with a little less hard mastering.
4/5 for the sound
5/5 for creativity so I will round this to 5 from 5 ;-)
Bah, five, it's awesome. Some of the flow and progression seems slightly weird, but that's nigh-on-imperceptible slightly. I'm running out of hyperbole tonight for all you last-minute blokes. hahaha
I didn't even THINK you were going to join this comp Neon Sky, but you did! And of course greatness breeds, breathes, and fully AWAKENS in this REMIX!
The energy, the instruments, everything is amazing, powerful, gritty, tooth & nail, bloody sweat, tears of agony, painful triumph, and victorious rage screams in this mix!
5/5 stars bud. Neon I expected greatness when I saw this remix here, and not only did you deliver, but you literally set off a musicanal bomb inside my brain, while sending it to outer space to explore sights and sounds never heard before by man.

Wow!Love this one mate! Really creative parts, ABSOLUTELY love that guitar riff at 0.44. Korn should have hired you after Brian Welch left.
