Remix Discussion

The Skylift :

Love this chaotic feel, it fits the lyrics perfectly.

Loved these industrial synths, they create nice atmosphere, psychotic and a lirrle bit chaotic.

But the vocals are out of sync in our opinion, and this fact, unfortunately, completely kills this mix for us.

Idea - 4 stars.
Production - 3 stars because of the vocals.

Overall rating would be 3.5, but we can't give this mark so it's a 3.

Regards, The Skylift.

TanukiD :

Like the chaos of the shifting time sigs. But some of the vocals dont sync up and neither do the synth and drums at the climax. Nice ideas and sounds though. God and angry lol.

TweakerRay [FiXT] :

A little bit too chaotic for me. The drumpattern is like a machinegun to me. The mix is distorted and also the harmonies don't work - good ideas, but overallsound is really distorted and not clean. Maybe master a little less loud and that for not cutted on the peaks (which makes the waveform distorted)

At the end I could live with the rather "hectic" drums , they fit in, but are not my taste... I give you 3/5 Stars.

Good Luck to you
and Check out my mix if you like

Cheers TweakerRay

Obviously Twins :

I absolutely love the chorus. I think it needs to be mixed better, and compressed some to make it come out kicking more. You have some super-thick synths in here (1:48 for example) but their impact is lost because of the lack of definition.

The section at 2:04 is a really good idea, but harmonically it doesn't work.

The break at 4:36 is brilliant. Such a great feel to it. I'm just sitting here nodding to it, really great energy. Definitely a strong ending.

You have some excellent ideas here. If I could give you a 3.5 I would, but I must give you a 3. If the mix were louder overall, and the thickness brought out to full realization you would have a 4 or 5 track. Good, solid work.

Come punch my mix if you'd care to.
