It felt like each repetitious bit should have led to something better... but then didn't.
The guitar sounded like it was added to give a fresh new sound, but was slow and repeated the same few notes throughout the entire song.
The midsection reminded me of an old video game version of an 80's childrens movie theme. Which interested me for a second, and then lost my interest because it didn't seem to have anything to follow it up or add intensity.
The rap samples often didn't seem to blend.
And repeat pattern.
And that is why I am not giving you 5 stars. Just not my style.

better make a comment i guess :) Musically it's good but we've come to expect that from tweaker mixes. Not as tight as usual though or mixed with the same clarity. Sounds a little like a rush job. Shame. Still at least you having an off day gives other mere mortals a chance :D

very nice remix. you really have production skills. reminds me of detritus(if u don't know this guy check him out, he is a GENIOUS) but in a lighter and brighter sense. pity there are no breakbeats in this remix. would rate you a 4 but it's closed anyway,perhaps in the 20's. check my remix as well although i doubt you'll like it!

if you sidechained the kick the bass it could give you some beef

Thanks for the assistance on my rating ray. That 1 really got to me. I know I'm no pro but I don't feel like I suck that bad. Yeah - I know the mix was short. It was a little rushed and I didn't know where to go with it. It's harder for me when there is no verse/chorus/ bridge pattern.
The 'indian' sounding drums are from some samples from ToneHammer's High School Drum Core library. A buddy of mine gave me the samples. I had Drumcore (Aaron Spectre) phase and felt the need to try it out. I think I will throw them around in some future mixes.

I like the melodramatic feel you give to your remixes. I feel like this song lends itself a little more to a harder and darker sound but you still pulled it off!

the hardest part of this remix comp IMO was keeping listeners intrigued. hard without vox! nevertheless you've done it, a 5/5 from me.
