FiXT Remix has been home to a number of remix contests for FiXT Artists - Celldweller, Blue Stahli, Squarehead - but seldom has an artist from another label been featured. Now, FiXT and Ad Noiseam have teamed up to expand the FiXT Remix experience with the Enduser "1/3" Remix Contest.
Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Enduser has remained a critical presence in the Breakcore and Raggacore genres since his first appearance in 2003. The list of labels that have released his music give testament to his renown: Ad Noiseam, Hymen, Sublight, Ohm Resistance - all heavyweights in modern electronic music. Not content to always create music by himself, Enduser has teamed up in the past with Ad Noiseam labelmates Larvae, Submerged, and Bong-Ra on a number of collaborative EPs, and he has also racked up a large number of remixes for a diverse assortment of artists across several genres.
FiXT and Ad Noiseam are now proud to turn the tables and give you, the listener, a chance to remix Enduser's new track "1/3". The title track of Enduser's latest EP on Ad Noiseam, "1/3" is easily one of Enduser's best compositions yet, one as melodious, intricate, and powerful as anything he has done before - a template of drum'n'bass that has been blown apart and restructured with the frantic percussiveness of breakcore. With confirmed sponsors FabFilter, Korg, and Prime Loops, the Enduser "1/3" Remix Contest will open on May 3rd.
NEW: Added genre browsing functionality to the contest pages.
