Requirements:
• Be A Registered FiXT Remix Artist (Sign Up for Free)
• Create an original Remix using any of the provided Remix Assets or your own original content.
(No illegal samples)
• Mix must be at least 2:00 in length

Submitted remixes will be evaluated and approved by the FIXT Remix Staff. Not all submitted remixes will be approved. Mixes are evaluated on quality, originality, and professionalism. Mixes that are out of key, out of timing or have illegal samples will be automatically rejected. You may enter as many mixes as you like during the contest, but keep in mind that we\\\\\\\'re looking for quality not necessarily quantity from an individual user. Winners will be decided by the FIXT Remix and The Rabid Whole Staff.

FAQ:
Q: Can I add new vocals to my remix?
A: Yes. You may add original harmonies and/or your own featured or backing vocals.

Q: Can I use Remix Files from Previous FiXT Contests?
A: No. We want to keep each contest unique to itself with any additional elements not provided by the remix files to be original compositions/beats, etc... that you create.

Mixes that are out of key, out of timing (in a non-musical sense) or have illegal samples will be automatically rejected. You may enter as many mixes as you like during the contest, but keep in mind that we\\\\\\\'re looking for quality not necessarily quantity from an individual user. We also recommend saving an instrumental version of your mix for possible Film/TV Licensing opportunities.

Hailing from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada comes The Rabid Whole. Creating a hybrid of electronic, rock and industrial sounds and armed with a cutting-edge live performance, the band is ready to unleash its arsenal on audiences around the globe.

Reputation and word of mouth grabbed the attention of Vancouver-based label, Synthetic Sounds (SNFU, Left Spine Down), who signed the band in 2008 and soon afterwards released their debut full length album, Autraumaton, produced by Karl Schubach of Misery Signals and mastered by Shaun Thingvold (Skinny Puppy, Lamb of God, Strapping Young Lad). A supporting tour with Left Spine Down kicked off the record nationally in 2009 and has earned the band a reputation as compelling as their live show, an electronic-induced visual sensory overload. The album has so far spawned one music video for "All The Same" that was picked up and played multiple times by MUCH MUSIC in Canada.

November 2009 sees the band take its music to the European Market via leading Darkrock and Industrial Label DANSE MACABRE RECORDS, who are releasing the band\\\\\\\'s first album featuring 3 remixes added to the album from 16Volt, mind.in.a.box and XP8.

With incessant touring including a supporting slot on Apoptygma Berzerk\\\\\\\'s only Western Canadian date, an unstoppable momentum and plans for their sophomore album already underway, The Rabid Whole is poised to transmit its sound to the masses.
