Member of:The Dallas Drumstep Association --- I got into the EDM scene at a very young age. I started producing music at about the age of 12 or 13. I began working on DJing at about 15. I picked it up very quickly. - I was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I was raised in Seaside Heights, New Jersey and I currently reside in Dallas, Texas. I started out being a artist driven to create what floats in my mind visually with the tools of pencil and paper, after that art died down a little, in 2009 I entered the Celldweller So Long Sentiment remix competition in a attempt to see what I could do in terms of sound. I delivered very little difference from the original song, but much potential was heard in my attempted recreation. I then pushed onward in future hosted competitions attempting to finally find my sound and style. From attempting to remix other artists material, I finally came to the line of whether I wanted to compose my own material. Crossing that line was no easy task, but now I believe I have found my own sound and style that I am quite fond of. Although still evolving in this style along with the evolution of music, I use this evolution to further my own development and experience. My goals, passions, dreams, creativity, and the spirit of being driven in music has surprised many, and hopefully will excite and surprise more. Project_7 is about beliefs, situations, & life in general put to music. Why?? So hopefully others will listen and feel the music, and then know that they are not alone, that someone has felt what they have. Through music you can feel all emotions: love, joy, pain, hate & it can even reach God. Music reaches places words cant, this is our connection to the world we cannot see but feel. P_7 is joining many styles of music including Electro/Synthpop/Futurepop/New Wave/Industrial. Late in 2005 David Valdez started working with a Digital Audio Workstation and a couple of soft-synth plugins. After a some months of having fun the first Project_7 demo was made, only back then Project_7 was known as \\\\\\\"Rusted\\\\\\\". A couple of demos were handed out to a few personal friends, soon after a short hiatus David returned to his DAW and started to churn out some new songs & reworked tracks from the rusted demo.
